Field Engineer – Masinloc Power Plant Expansion Project (Philippines)

Balanced Engineering & Construction (BEC) is seeking Site Engineers to join our project team at the Masinloc Power Plant Expansion Project in Zambales, Philippines. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major power infrastructure development, supporting structural and civil works on site.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the client and client representatives on all project-related matters.
• Plan and prepare work schedules; organise site manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and job hazard analysis.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and plans, identifying discrepancies and providing technical solutions.
• Ensure work permits are available for all site tasks and locations as required.
• Prepare and maintain a daily site diary and weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team for material and equipment requirements and delivery schedules.
• Attend coordination and site meetings, ensuring key information is communicated to all involved parties.
• Support QA/QC and safety compliance during all stages of construction.
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of handover documentation at project completion.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant site experience in industrial or power plant construction.
• Strong technical understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, or mechanical works.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks
