We are seeking an experienced and skilled Safety Manager/Officer to join our team on an upcoming project in Batangas, Philippines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of site experience, preferably in slipforming, silos or heavy civil projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce safety policies in compliance with Philippine OSH standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure PPE compliance, hazard identification, and emergency response readiness.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to mitigate risks and enhance safety measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Safety Manager or Safety Officer in slipforming, silos, or heavy civil projects.
- Certified OSH Practitioner (DOLE-accredited).
- Strong knowledge of construction safety laws and emergency response procedures.
Additional requirements:
- This role is open to candidates legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
- Adherence to safety protocols and proactive risk management in line with Philippine OSH standards.
