Team Spotlight – Bataan Laydown Yard

Bataan Laydown Yard Fabrication

At BEC’s Bataan Laydown Yard, our team plays a critical role in fabrication, material preparation, and repair work—keeping projects moving smoothly across the region.

Staying ahead of the curve is key. The team ensures that everything fabricated in Bataan aligns with project schedules. Right now, they’re preparing silo slipform rig materials and equipment for the Taiheiyo Cement project in Batangas, as well as slipform rig materials and equipment for the Unit 5 Environmental Compliance Chimney at Masinloc. This comes after a major achievement—completing the cladding works for the Hsinta and Taichung projects, which have now been successfully shipped to Taiwan.

With one of BEC’s Safety Officers of the Year, Jaime Espinola, on-site, we know the team delivers quality fabrication while upholding the highest safety standards at every step. Their dedication ensures that every material prepared at the Bataan Laydown Yard meets both project requirements and safety excellence—because at BEC, safety and execution go hand in hand.

A big thanks to the team for being the behind-the-scenes champions of smooth execution!
