BEC Philippines Strengthens Regional Capability with Bataan Yard Upgrade
We have completed a significant upgrade to our Bataan Yard, reinforcing its role as a key operational hub for fabrication, maintenance, and specialist engineering works in the Philippines.
The investment supports BEC’s growing project portfolio in the region and enhances its ability to deliver complex infrastructure safely, reliably, and on schedule.
Expanded Facilities to Support Fabrication and Maintenance
The Bataan Yard upgrade includes:
- A new modular office, designed and delivered using BEC’s own precast mould design system, increasing workspace capacity
- Expanded fabrication and electrical workshop areas, adding additional space to support larger projects and improve productivity
- Refurbished pantry and machining spaces, improving employee amenities and operational efficiency
These improvements directly support ongoing and future works, including chimney and silo projects, as well as the maintenance and reconditioning of slipform rig equipment used across BEC’s vertical construction projects.
Modular Office Showcasing Scalable Construction Solutions
Designed and built using BEC’s in-house modular system, the new office also serves as a showroom for BEC Modular, demonstrating how the same precast approach can be applied to large-scale housing, educational facilities, and commercial developments.
The system is optimised for volume delivery, offering a repeatable and efficient solution for multi-building developments where speed, quality, and consistency are critical.
