Heat stress remains one of the most significant health and safety challenges facing workers in the construction industry, particularly in tropical and high-temperature environments.
BEC’s Ice Safety initiative applies proven cooling principles to help workers recover more effectively during rest periods. By providing controlled cooling opportunities on site, Ice Safety helps reduce the effects of heat exposure while supporting worker wellbeing and performance.
What makes the initiative particularly effective is its simplicity. It is easy to deploy, practical for project environments and accessible to workers across a wide range of construction activities.
QR Safe: Digitising Critical Lifting Information
Access to accurate lifting information is essential for safe lifting operations. QR Safe was developed to simplify access to lifting plans, equipment information and critical documentation by making this information instantly available through QR code technology.
Instead of relying on paper records or searching through multiple systems, project teams can access the information they need directly from site using a mobile device.
The result is improved accessibility, greater traceability and more efficient communication between project teams involved in lifting activities.
ESG and Sustainability Transformation with Chimney Construction
Sustainability is increasingly becoming a core consideration within the construction industry.
BEC’s ESG and Sustainability Transformation initiative demonstrates how environmental, social and governance principles can be integrated into complex industrial construction projects while continuing to deliver safe and efficient outcomes for clients.
The initiative reflects our commitment to responsible construction practices, continuous improvement and creating long-term value for stakeholders, communities and the environment.
