At BEC, leadership is about taking initiative, driving progress, and inspiring others. In Taiwan, where we are contributing to the emissions control of a combined cycle power plant in Taichung by building an environmental compliance chimney, Cecilia Wang’s role involves numerous critical activities that ensure the smooth operation and success of our projects. Here, she shares her insights on the impact of diversity and inclusion:

As part of the site team for our Taichung project, I lead the coordination of schedules, oversee documentation management, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. These tasks are vital for the overall functioning of our site. At BEC, I am valued for my strategic oversight and meticulous attention to detail, which are crucial for keeping our projects on track. Working alongside colleagues like Fei Fei Li and Kiki Chen has been incredibly rewarding. Fei Fei's innovative approach to problem-solving and Kiki's meticulous attention to safety standards have both made substantial contributions to our project's success. Together, we represent the strength of a diverse and inclusive team, proving that our combined efforts lead to a more dynamic work environment

In Vietnam, our Quang Trach project will contribute to the addition of 1,200 MW of power to the region. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich reflects on her career:

I love working on site! The camaraderie and support from my team make every day rewarding. I've never felt limited by my gender; instead, I am encouraged and empowered to contribute my best. My role involves ensuring that all project documents are accurately managed, tracked, and distributed, facilitating seamless communication and compliance throughout the project's lifecycle. The collaborative environment here at BEC fosters growth and innovation, and I truly enjoy being part of a team that values and respects each member's input.
