Delivering LNG civil works that strengthen Taiwan’s energy future
Balanced Engineering & Construction (BEC) has officially launched the Talin LNG Project in partnership with CTCI Corporation (CTCI). The project began with a joint kick-off meeting, followed by a team lunch to celebrate this important milestone.
A Landmark LNG Civil Works Project
Taiwan’s leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services provider, CTCI Corporation, has selected BEC to deliver the civil works for two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cryogenic tanks at the CPC Kaohsiung Intercontinental LNG Terminal. Each tank is designed to hold 180,000 kiloliters of LNG.
This landmark project, jointly led by CTCI and Japan’s IHI Plant Services Corporation, is part of Taiwan’s strategic push to meet future energy demands and its net-zero vision by 2050.
For BEC, this project reinforces our strategic growth into LNG infrastructure, supported by our industry-leading personnel, proven technology, and strong track record with CTCI.

The kick-off meeting was an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, trust, and partnerships. New and returning team members came together, sharing goals and pride in shaping Taiwan’s energy future.
