Celebrating Halal Bi Halal at Batam Fabrication Yard

Today at our Batam Fabrication Yard, we came together to celebrate Halal Bi Halal—a deeply rooted Indonesian tradition that fosters unity, forgiveness, and connection.

Usually held during or after Eid al-Fitr, Halal Bi Halal is a time for individuals to seek and offer forgiveness, strengthen relationships, and renew bonds within the community. At BEC, we proudly embrace this tradition as part of our commitment to building an inclusive, respectful, and values-driven workplace.

This meaningful gathering provided our team the opportunity to reflect on the spiritual and personal lessons of Ramadan, reconnect with colleagues, and recommit to working together with shared purpose and unity.

“Traditions like Halal Bi Halal keep us grounded. They remind us that behind every machine, every milestone, there are people—and people matter most.”
– Meikel Sihombing, Fabrication Manager

We are grateful to all our team members at the Batam Fabrication Yard for making this moment so special. Events like these are not just celebrations—they’re reflections of the culture we build together, every day.
