Celebrating Safety Milestones with Zero Harm!

Masinloc team celebrating safety milestone

As we mark our safety milestones in the Philippines, it serves as a profound reminder that our commitment to safety at BEC remains resolute. We firmly uphold the belief that each member of our team deserves to return home safely and unharmed at the end of every day. We are proud to announce our latest safety achievements across our projects in the Philippines:

🔹 Masinloc Emissions Control System: 230,000 safe working hours
🔹 Modular Housing Project: 75,000 safe working hours
🔹 Bataan Yard: 246,786 safe working hours

In high-risk environments like construction, safety precedes expediency. For instance, in our Masinloc project, where we are constructing the emission control system, our teams work at heights and navigate complex logistical challenges daily. Risks associated with operating specialised equipment and machinery, such as cranes, scaffolding, and concrete pumps, require strict adherence to operating procedures and safety protocols. Similarly, our large-scale housing project involves placing pre-cast concrete modular units in precarious positions, necessitating meticulous planning and execution to mitigate risks such as structural integrity and worker safety.

Key to Our Success:

  • Rigorous safety training programs
  • Proactive risk management strategies
  • Continuous on-site safety audits
  • Open communication and feedback channels
  • Commitment from every team member

Our dedicated management, engineers, supervisors, and contractors are pivotal in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment. They champion safety by upholding safe work practices and ensuring that all equipment and machinery are in pristine working condition.

Congratulations to our committed team for achieving these safety milestones. Here’s to many more safe and productive hours ahead!
