The assembly of the slipform for the second 150-meter hexagonal environmental compliance chimney for the Taichung Combined Cycle Power Plant in Taiwan is nearing completion. Our engineering team has meticulously tailored the slipform rig to align with the unique hexagonal design of the chimney. The chimney’s state-of-the-art design supports Taiwan’s drive for cleaner energy production, aligning with the region’s broader environmental goals.
Slipforming allows us to achieve seamless vertical construction, ensuring efficiency and structural integrity for this towering emission-control structure. This technique is key to meeting the ambitious timeline and stringent quality standards of the project.
Stay tuned for updates as the slipform rig comes to life and we rise—literally and figuratively—towards another achievement in Taichung.
