Following the field-wide fire drill exercise at Tuas Power Station, the demolition team participated in a team-building gathering organised by TPG, BEC, and YSB, which included a prayer event focused on safety, peace, and well-being on site.
While technical procedures and systems form the foundation of safe project execution, moments like these play an equally important role in reinforcing safety culture, teamwork, and shared responsibility across project stakeholders.
The gathering brought together representatives from across the project team, including Mr Koh (Manager, Planning & Engineering Department), Matt Freeston (Project Consultant), Winco Ho (Regional Safety Manager), Wee Soon Chia (Contracts Manager), Patrick Paling (Project Manager), Abhishek (Site Manager), and colleagues supporting the ongoing works.
Beyond the day’s operational activities, the session provided an opportunity to connect, align around shared commitments, and collectively reinforce the project’s focus on safety and successful execution.
