Progress at Masinloc Power Plant

Masinloc Winshield Painting

The vibrant red and white stripes painting the sky is a striking visual symbolising the significant progress we’ve made at the Masinloc Power Plant in the Philippines where BEC is building a 150-meter-high environmental compliance chimney, paving the way for an additional 350MW of reliable electricity on the grid.  This vertical marvel will be instrumental in managing emissions and ensuring the plant meets global environmental standards.

Less than 12 months ago, this site was a blank canvas. Today, it’s a bustling hub of activity and progress. Our team has achieved remarkable milestones that deserve to be celebrated.

Internal Steelwork and Flooring: Watching the internal steelwork and flooring being lifted into place at multiple elevations is always rewarding as it involves so many critical elements coming together simultaneously. It’s a testament to the precision and expertise of our engineers.
Liner Can Installation: Our team has started installing the liner can, a critical component that ensures the chimney meets stringent environmental standards. This is where our commitment to a cleaner future takes shape.
Earthing and Lightning Protection: Safety is our utmost priority, and we’re making excellent progress on the earthing and lightning protection system. Every connection made is a step towards a safer and more reliable structure.
Windshield Painting: The transformation is taking shape as the bold stripes paint the sky. The red and white stripes not only boost visibility but also vividly symbolise our ongoing progress.

Each of these milestones represents the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our team. Their passion and precision are the driving forces behind our success.
